Men’s Wigs and Toupees

At Wig Elegance, we regularly get questions from our patrons regarding our selection of men’s wigs and toupees. Most are surprised to learn that one type does not fit all – there are a number of things to consider when choosing a hairpiece, of which color and hairstyle are just two out of many.

Because so many factors come into play when choosing a wig or toupee, we offer our men’s hairpieces in a variety of different styles. Here is just a short description of two of our most popular categories:

Lace-front Wigs: These wigs have a very fine, almost invisible, net of flesh-colored “lace” at the hairline onto which the hair follicles are attached. These are considered the finest wigs in the industry, and look so natural, they are used for high-end film and theater productions, where believability is key.

Monofilament Wigs: Each follicle in these hairpieces is hand-tied onto sheer fabric for the greatest flexibility and breathability. If you are used to styling your hair in a number of different ways, a “mono top” will allow the follicles to fall in any direction, mimicking the flow of natural hair. The sheer fabric also makes these wigs among our most comfortable
